Introduction to the Festival

The European University Festival is a European platform that brings together universities, students, researchers and institutional partners from across Europe.

The initiative focuses on developing innovative academic solutions to climate change and global environmental challenges, fostering collaboration between research, institutions and industry.

The platform will be officially launched on 21 May 2026 in Turin, marking the opening of the European Call for Universities.

Universities and academic institutions across Europe will be invited to submit projects addressing climate innovation and sustainability.

Following a European selection process, the most outstanding initiatives will be presented during the Final Phase of the European University Festival in May 2027 in Turin, where finalist universities will showcase their projects in a major European prime-time cultural and scientific event.
